Drawing is an Escape

 I have always like to draw, but I hadn't known how much I truly loved it until I took classes in college. When I am completely focused on a drawing it's as though that is the only important thing in the world. Nothing else matters in that moment. I think that's why I love art so much. It takes away all my thoughts and worries and let's me express myself on paper.

Valentine's Day

I know this is a little late but I kind of put off this blog for the past week because of midterms. Ugh so many days of studying. Anyway, this is what my Valentine's Day consisted of. My boyfriend and I went out the night before to dinner at Wood Ranch and then to watch a movie. I had thought that was all we were doing to celebrate because we both had school on the 14th. Little did I know, he had a couple surprises waiting for me. The next day when I was going to leave for school, I saw him drive up just in time to surprise me with roses and the balloons. Oh and those balloons sing so that was pretty funny, except for the fact that my sisters love to come into my room and make them go off all the time -_- Thanks a lot you two.

Him showing up had made my day. I didn't think it could get any better (except if I didn't have class). To top it all off, after I was home from school he shows up again to give me chocolate covered strawberries, which he knows are my absolute favorite :D. That day was simply amazing and a Valentine's Day I won't ever forget. He is definitely a keeper <3

Sorry, I forgot to take any pictures of what I had given him. I made brownies dipped in chocolate, some kit kat filled chocolate hearts, and a personalized cd with a bunch of oldies love songs.
